25 middle-school to high-school-aged participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis to participate in a fun fall program for creative expression through the creation of spoken word poetry or music and financial literacy education.

This program is offered free to the community and supported by generous sponsorship and partnership from the community.

What Is Money?

Thursdays starting September 30, 6 - 7 pm
Where does money come from? What is it used for? And What can we do with it?
These are just some of the questions we will explore in the “What is Money” workshop. Come and learn what money is and how to use it to your advantage!
Spoken Word Workshop
Jared Brown, Teaching Artist
Saturdays starting October 2, 10:30 - 11:30 am
Students will look at topics, concepts or issues they find of interest and create poem and/or spoken word performances.
