The Sounds Good! Choir has two 15-week sessions, one in the spring and one in the fall. And they have many locations throughout the city and near suburbs.

The Sounds Good! Choir (formerly Encore Illinois) provides choral singing opportunities for older adults (55+) in the Chicago area under the direction of a professional artist. Singing with Sounds Good! is fun, challenging, and rewarding. We currently run seven Sounds Good! Choir locations, spanning from Chicago to the suburbs, plus the Good Memories Choir for people with early-stage memory loss and their care partners. We have served more than 650 lively and enthusiastic singers since our founding in early 2016. We are honored to be of service to the community with choral music.

Sounds Good! Choir dedicates itself to provide an excellent and accessible artistic environment for older adults, 55 and over, who seek arts education and performance opportunities under a professional artist. All are welcome, regardless of experience or ability. We are an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax exempt organization.
