"Closing with the remarkable ‘Free Spirts Suite’ by Christina Carminucci, Rhythm World 33 faculty from New Jersey. ‘Free Spirits Suite’ is a three-piece tap dance interpretation of the 1975 Mary Lou Williams record ‘Free Spirits’. An ensemble of tap dancers and jazz musicians narrate the journey of “the spirit” and its search for divine purpose here on Earth, all while paying tribute to “The First Lady of Jazz”.
