Summer Urban Garden Project

An intergenerational food justice project that cultivates care & responsibility for self, community and creation through urban gardening. Participants plan, grow, harvest and share the bounty with three food desert communities in Chicago.  Young people working in the garden have an opportunity to earn a stipend.
