Off The Pews: Faith in Action is happy to announce a new program for 25 kids from middle school through high school ages!
The program will run for 10 weeks, and it starts with a group orientation Zoom session on Saturday, February 13th at 10 am.
OTP is partnering with the Hyde Park Art Center for the next five weeks (starting February 20th) in an art project related to "Vision Boards" or "Collages for Justice" (some materials provided) that will help participants learn to give voice to their dreams and/or concerns.
These sessions will meet on Saturdays at 9:30 am.
The next three weeks of the program (starting March 22nd) will be devoted to ShopTalk organized by OTP's partner, the Sunshine Gospel Ministries. There's a certain magic that happens in the barber's chair or the nail salon. It is the magic of community.
These sessions will meet on Mondays at 5:15 pm.
The final day of the Virtual Winter Program will be a celebratory wrap-up session on Saturday, April 10th at 10 am.
